The "AFA Falconer & Falcon" features a great deal of historic detailing, and was conceived and sculpted by Linda King (spouse of Harrison E. King, USAFA '60).The falconer wears the Academy's original Cadet Parade Uniform. The hat and jacket buttons include details of the Air Force emblems, and the landing falcon gives the sculpture a sense of movement. The falcon was chosen as the AFA mascot because of its speed, courage and powerful flight. The statue is on display at Doolittle Hall. Order your own piece of Academy history today.
