Picture are taken from a recent blog article by Mr. Chen, Liang. Mr. Chen has a in-depth study on a painting of a partial albino Mountain Hawk Eagle （Spizaetus nipalensis orientalis) a tribute from the Kingdom of Goryeo (Korea) to the last emperor of North Song Dynasty; Hui-Zong, who was also the best birds of prey painter in Chinese art history. This painting was painted in 1114 AD. The original painting was lost during the world wars, but one not very clear black and white photo and three copy paintings painted in early 20th century are still exist. The same hawk eagle was presented in the last painting, by an anonymous artist. This painting is the best document that preserved the details of falconry gears used in 1,000 AD China. This article is written in Chinese.
