Description

Giuseppe Puricelli (Italian, 1825 - 1894). "The Falconer" - 1862, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left "G. Puricelli Guerra". Painting depicts a pair of figures, one being a falconer with a bird on his arm, in the middle of a lush field before a mountainside lake on a sunny day beneath clouded blue skies. Painting is presented in a wooden frame with gilt accents and chamfered corners. Framed 67" x 114".
